Chicken Tikka is definitely the most requested meal in our house. This slow cooker version is family friendly and it makes the perfect fake-away meal, not only that but it is so easy to prepare - and a delicious and tasty meal for your weaning baby too!
This slow cooker Chilli beef is not only healthy, but it is a meal that is easy to prepare and cook in your slow cooker. You can make this chilli dish as child friendly as you wish by adding in more chilli or by removing it for baby (although most babies love spicy food). For your baby make sure the salsa is homemade or alternatively leave it out.
Lasagne is a firm favourite in our house and the girls love this fish version also. Its so simple to prepare the perfect midweek meal. Prepare in mini ramekins for your baby’s portion. Freeze before baking and cook from frozen adding about 5 -10 minutes onto the cooking time.
The American classic! Jessica has been asking for homemade sloppy joes for a while now. They are definitely inspired by the shows she is watching on Netflix.
The recipe is similar to the meat in shepherd's pie however it does contain sugar and salt so I wouldn’t offer it to a baby unless you left it out. Eating with a bun was strange yet satisfying. Jessica gave them the thumbs up.
Looking for something fun to do with the kids at the weekend? Why not get the kids into the kitchen to create some yummy rice crispy treats.
The girls and I had lots of fun making these treats. They are a take on the less healthy rice crispy squares. They are surprisingly sweet despite not having any sugar added. Jessica loved the mixing part.
Cooking With Jessica
One of our favourite family meals is a BBQ. I find it so easy to prepare and the kids love getting involved. I have been making a version of this burger for years adapted from my Mums recipe and Jessica decided she wanted to give it her own stamp. So here it is, we hope you love it as much as we do.
