With banana and avocado, this puree is a perfect baby food for your weaning tot. Subtle sweetness from the banana combined with healthy fats from the avocado makes for a creamy sweet treat your weaning baby will love!

Makes: 2 Child portions

Ingredients
1 Ripe Banana (sweeter when riper)
1 Avocado

Method

  1. Peel and slice the banana. Add to a bowl and mash with a fork.
  2. Slice the avocado in half and remove the stone. Spoon out the flesh and add to the mashed banana.
  3. Mix together and serve in a pot from the Starter Weaning Set depending on your baby's weaning stage. You can freeze it in these handy pots too for a quick, nutritious weaning snack on busier days.

Weaning and Storage
4-6 months – Blended to Runny Puree
6-7 months - Smooth and slightly thicker puree, no lumps
7-8 months - Thicker puree with increased texture
8-9 months - Minced and mashed with soft lumps.
9-12 months – Minced and finely chopped.
