Baked Falafel


Healthy falafels that aren't fried, but baked! Delicious and simple, the kids are bound to love them.
These baked falafels are the perfect finger food for your weaning baby and are also great in older kids' lunch boxes. For a tasty baby led weaning meal, serve them with our Coriander and Lime Hummus.

2 x 400g tins chickpeas, drained
1 small onion
2 cloves of garlic
2 large handfuls of parsley
2 large handfuls of coriander
2 large handfuls of coriander
2 tsp ground cumin
3 tbsp olive oil

Preheat the oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Add all of ingredients to a food processor and blend until combined, but not completely smooth.

Form the mixture into little logs. Adapt the size to suit your baby's hand.

Place the falafels on the prepared baking tray.

Bake for about 20 minutes, rolling over each falafel halfway through.
- Serve immediately or store in portion pots for future use.
Weaning and Storage
