Happy April! 

Using seasonal produce is an excellent way of incorporating a diverse range of textures, flavours, and nutrients into your family's diet! Check out my 'Baby and Family Book' which has a full seasonal produce guide and instructions for how to serve each fruit and vegetable to your baby.

Rhubarb: Low in sugar, yet packed with essential nutrients such as vitamins K and C, calcium and potassium. Rhubarb is also an excellent source of dietary fiber supporting digestive health.

Asparagus 🌿: Nutrient-Rich containing vitamins A, C, E, and K, as well as folate, potassium, and fiber. Asparagus also has antioxidant properties.

My Asparagus and Apple Puree is the perfect baby food for your little one. Babies are born with a sweet tooth so by combining sweet with savoury your baby is more likely to accept new tastes like asparagus.

Broccoli🥦: Broccoli is densely packed with nutrients, including vitamins C, K, and A, folate, potassium, and fiber. Broccoli is great for supporting immune function, bone health, vision, and overall well-being.

Cauliflower🌱:  A versatile vegetable, that delivers a healthy does of fibre and is an excellent source of vitamins C, K, and B6.

My Cauliflower Rice recipe is a light and fluffy alternative to white or brown rice. It's delicious, healthy and so easy to do!

Mushrooms🍄: Contain vitamins D and B, selenium, copper and potassium.  metabolism, red blood cell production, and nervous system function.

Try out my Creamy Mushroom Pasta Sauce which is perfect for batch cooking. Freeze and store in my weaning pots - so you can simply whip it out and serve as a fuss-free dinner meal served with pasta or chicken any night of the week!
