Carrot, Apple & Parsnip Purée

 

This is a great recipe to make to try and get your little eater trying new flavours. Mixing veggies with fruit is a good way to add a natural sweetness to your baby’s food, and they will be more likely to accept it!

Ingredients
1 carrot
1 apple
1 parsnip
Pinch of nutmeg

Method
  1. Peel, wash and chop your vegetables.
  2. Steam for about 10 minutes until tender and cooked through.
  3. Blend with some of the cooking water to form a runny purée.
  4. Store in your weaning pots and freeze extras for future use.
