Broccoli, Pear and Tahini Puree

This Broccoli, Pear and Tahini purée is perfect as a dip to introduce variety which is essential when weaning your baby. The addition of tahini to this puree makes for a delicious creamy taste your baby is sure to love! Offer as a dip with a finger food such as whole pasta pieces or toast slices for a baby led weaning treat your little one will enjoy.

Cook time: 15 minutes
Makes: 10 x 90ml / 3oz portions

1 head of broccoli
2 pears
3 tbsp of tahini
Water to blend


  1. Wash and separate the broccoli into florets
  2. Peel and chop the pears
  3. Place the broccoli and pears into your steamer and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until tender and cooked through
  4. Purée or mash with the tahini, adding some boiled water if it is not runny enough
  5. Store in your weaning pots to freeze and use within one month.
