Exploring Ireland
Starting to plan your family holiday can be difficult, however as a family we love to explore the Irish countryside and last summer we travelled around the west of Ireland visiting Galway, Connemara, Mayo and the Aaron Islands. My husband is a keen videographer and it is really special to have the memories to look back on. We hope you enjoy our video and it gets you thinking about how you can enjoy your summer outdoors with the family big or small.
If you are starting to plan your summer holidays, follow the Mummy Cooks guide to eating healthy while you have fun with the whole family!
Kick start the day
If you are taking a trip abroad and the flight is very early, a good option is to bring your cereal in a Child Portion Pot. When you are through the security all you need to do is purchase milk. The kids are much happier with their favourite cereal than what is on offer at the departure gates!
Lunches and Snacks
Our trip involved lots of outdoor activities, which meant we would be out for the entire day. It was therefore essential to have a lunch and snacks packed so the kids were happy to continue with the activities. This is where our Mummy Cooks Portion Pots really come in handy. And because lunch was healthy, we could then treat the kids to a refreshing Ice-Cream! Why not bring some tasty Picnic Style Prawns and Pasta in a Food Flask for a quick and filling lunch on the go.
