Make fruit more exciting for your child by mixing it up with lots of flavours. Cut up your child’s favourite fruit and then add some new and unusual flavours. Fresh fruit is also perfect for your weaning baby as a finger food. Packed with vitamins and minerals, you should pick fruits that are easy for your baby to pick up and self feed.

Light and refreshing, this fruit slaw is a great healthy snack for your child's lunch box, and the whole family alike!

Cook time: No cooking required
Makes: 2-4 portions

Ingredients
2 Apples
2 Mangos
4 Plums
1 pack Blueberries
Lime juice

Method

  1. Cut apple, mango and plums into fine matchsticks, add a few blueberries and toss together with a little lime juice.
  2. Serve and enjoy.

Weaning and Storage
6 months+ - Introduce as a finger food for baby to pick up and self feed.
