This is a great recipe for getting the kids to tuck into hummus. It is rich in key nutrients and protein, so serve it in a fun way to get them excited to try it. Offer as a dip to your weaning baby with some steamed or raw vegetable sticks for a tasty baby led weaning snack your whole family can enjoy!

Makes: 4 Adult portions
2 cans of pre-soaked chickpeas
2 cloves of garlic
1 cup tahini
½ cup water
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried basil
Veggies to serve
- Add all of the ingredients to your food processor bar the water.
- Blitz on high until creamy, adding some water if necessary.
- Serve and enjoy–we tried out a fun new way of serving it coming out of our carved watermelon to entice the younger ones to give it a go!
