Asparagus Snakes for Baby
Make mealtimes exciting for your weaning tot with this easy recipe that's ideal for baby led weaning. Simply bend asparagus into 'snake' shapes and let them enjoy! 

Cook time: 10-15 minutes
Makes: 4 Adult portions

Ingredients
1 bunch of asparagus

Method
  1. Slice off the woody bottoms of the asparagus.
  2. Take a vegetable peeler and peel the stalks leaving just the top which will act as the snakes head.
  3. Steam the asparagus for 10-15 minutes until nicely cooked through and bendy.
  4. Bend into a snake shape and allow your baby to enjoy either by itself or with a dip.
Weaning and Storage
6 months+ - Introduce as a finger food for baby to pick up and self feed.
